Practise your investor pitch out loud, and hear what a partner would.
You have rehearsed the deck. Nobody has told you that the thesis arrives in minute two, that your voice lifts at the end of every claim, or that the strongest line in the pitch is one you almost skipped. Three minutes of audio is enough to find all three.
Investors decide in the first ninety seconds.
Pitch feedback usually arrives as slide notes. But partners are not reading your deck in the room — they are listening to you, deciding early whether you sound like someone who has already thought this through.
The tells are auditory: hedging before the number, accelerating through the part you are least sure of, ending the ask as a question rather than a statement. You cannot hear them while you are speaking. A recording can.
Scored for a pitch, not for a speech class.
Conviction
Whether you sound like the decision or like someone asking permission. Hedges and rising sentence endings are located, not just counted.
Time to thesis
How long before the core claim lands. Anything past the first thirty seconds is attention you paid for nothing.
Evidence density
Specific numbers, names and outcomes versus adjectives. Your own lines are quoted back so you can see which carried proof.
Pace under pressure
Words per minute across the pitch and the rushed segments where the model of your business stopped being understandable.
The ask
Your closing scored and rewritten as a declarative, side by side with what you actually said.
Three minutes of speech, one precise read.
You record or upload audio — phone, laptop, no camera, no live interviewer. VOCARE transcribes it, measures how you delivered it, and reads the substance of what you said.
You get scored dimensions with the exact moment behind each number, your own strongest lines quoted back, a rewritten opening and closing, and one priority to carry into the next session. Pattern memory tracks what has actually shifted across your last ten sessions rather than resetting each time.
Pace and rushed segments
Words per minute across the whole recording, plus the specific stretches where you accelerated past the point of landing.
Pauses and silence ratio
Micro, emphasis and dramatic pauses counted separately, with benchmark ranges, because silence is what gives a sentence weight.
Energy arc
How your energy moved from first word to last — building, front-loaded, peaked early, fading — matched to the same curve you can see plotted.
Structure and clarity
Whether your point arrived early, whether the middle held, and whether you closed on a statement or trailed into explanation.
Listener's memory
What a listener would actually retain from the recording, and what quietly fell out. Retention, not grammar.
Before you record.
Should I record the full pitch or a section?
Three minutes gives the sharpest read. Record the opening and the thesis, or a single section you know is shaky. You can run separate sessions for different parts and pattern memory will track both.
Can I upload a recording of a real pitch meeting?
Yes. Upload audio from a rehearsal or a recorded call and it is analysed the same way. Only your own speech is scored.
How much does VOCARE cost?
Your first three sessions are free and no card is required. After that you buy credit packs — one credit per session — starting at $9 for five sessions, $19 for twelve and $39 for thirty. There is no subscription.
What happens to my recordings?
Recordings and reports are private to your account. Nothing is published, shared or used as a public example, and you can delete your account and its history from your profile page at any time.
Hear the pitch before the partners do.
