1. Who We Are

Vocare is operated by Vikram Vashisht, an individual sole proprietor based in Singapore (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Vikram Vashisht is the data controller for personal data processed through Vocare. We provide an AI-powered communication coaching tool accessible at vocarelabs.com.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Vocare:

Account information: your email address when you sign up.

Session content: audio recordings, transcripts, and text you submit for analysis. This content is processed to generate your coaching report and is stored so your Vault history can be maintained across sessions.

Usage data: session count, scores, timestamps, and the contexts you select. This data powers your score trajectory, pattern memory, and streak tracking.

Payment information: if you purchase a credit pack, your payment is processed by Paddle. We do not store your card details. We receive confirmation of purchase and the amount paid.

Device and technical data: browser type, device type, and IP address collected automatically when you use the app. We use PostHog for product analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver AI-generated coaching analysis of your sessions
  • Maintain your Vault history and pattern memory across sessions
  • Track your progress, streak, and score trajectory
  • Process payments and manage your credit balance
  • Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns
  • Send you session-related emails if you have opted in

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your session content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We share data with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the product:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure (servers in the EU/US)

Anthropic — AI analysis of your session transcripts (Claude API)

Google — transcription of audio recordings (Gemini API)

Paddle — payment processing

PostHog — product analytics (US cloud)

Lovable — hosting and deployment infrastructure

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing terms.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your session content and personal data are deleted within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained for product improvement.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your session data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies necessary for authentication. We use PostHog analytics which may set cookies to track usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

8. Children

Vocare is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at hello@vocarelabs.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of Vocare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
